1. As a SERUM after facial cleansing with ULTRA CLEANSER, followed by TOTAL FACE SERUM, COLOUR SHIELD FACE make-up, INSTANT PERFECTOR, etc. Apply to clean, slightly damp skin with TOTAL TONER.
2. As a CREAM in combination with TOTAL FACE SERUM. This combo (serum + oil) is particularly recommended for sensitive skin, as PRODIGY OIL strengthens the skin’s barrier function, increasing the resistance and tolerance of sensitive skin.
3. As a SINGLE PRODUCT (treatment + moisturiser). It can be used on its own as a single treatment and nourishing product, especially at night. To improve its absorption, particularly on oily/combination skin, PRODIGY OIL can be “diluted” with TOTAL TONER: Pour a few drops of oil into the palm of your hand and add 1-2 drops of toner. Mix well and apply to the face with a gentle circular massage.

I can't compliment this product more, it's absolute magic. Perfect face oil, not too thick and gives a perfect moisture. Has helped my skin so much, especially in the winter but what's crazy is, even during the summer it's keeps my skin ridden of any brown spots and moisturized. I use it day and night! In the winter, a good oil is a crucial part of my nighttime skincare routine and this oil is perfection. It’s totally replaced my old standbys and will be repurchasing this!
I typically use Tretinoin as my go-to retinol. Compared to the Prodigy Oil, the Tretinoin is much more harsh. Additionally, it seems to hydrate whereas Tretinoin definitely dries out my skin a bit. However, I do appreciate how Tretinoin works a bit more aggressively in clearing my skin (in this way almost satisfies usage of the Total Toner + Prodigy Oil). Bottom line: appreciate the Prodigy Oil for its hydrating properties and effects in evening my skin. It may be unfair to compare it to Tretinoin in terms of how Tretinoin may comparatively apply more evenness, given that Tretinoin is over the counter. That is the only reason I rate this a 4 instead of a 5.
