This is the time of the year that you start to think of your intentions for the future, the people you have around you, your family, your health, your passion, your purpose. It’s also a moment to be thankful…and I’m so very thankful this year.
First and foremost, like most of us, I’m thankful for my beautiful family—my daughter and my son are back in Europe after University in the States, closer to us, but thriving on their own. I am so thankful that I am able to be here for my children, they are my greatest achievement, my heart, my soul. And my love, my husband, we’re in sync wherever we are and this year the holidays are home in Mallorca. I’m so thankful to have a united family.
Sharing some other thankful thoughts and look forward to hearing all about yours!
How lucky am I to pursue my dreams and manage to give them shape. From books to jewels to art to beauty, I’ve been so fortunate to explore and create and produce.
I feel really healthy mentally and physically…I’ve almost completely given up on bad habits, well, you can’t really live without tiptoeing into some mistakes. Which reminds me how thankful I am at being able to discern who is meant to be part of my life and who is not. Sometimes we hang on to people, business partners and even friendships that are really not meant to be forever.
I’m thankful for not repeating bad patterns from the past, otherwise you can pass them on for generations. How lovely instead to be able to give something you wish you had, something as simple as appreciation as uncomplicated as love without expectation. It’s a gift to me and my family.
I’m thankful for the Beauty Ritual that grounds me. It all starts with taking care of my skin. And I’m so thankful for my customers and potential customers, who challenge me to develop products that truly make a difference, that feature healthy bioactive ingredients and layer next-gen technology to deliver immediate results but also everlasting benefits.
And then exercise, studies show that it’s one of the things that diminishes, slows down and maybe even prevents Alzheimer’s disease. Recently, for me, it’s been weight training, walking and gardening, which often makes me sweat. I am so thankful for pruning and planting, they are my therapy. Without taking care of our bodies nothing else works, after all.
Finally, I’m thankful for the understanding of how important it is to be conscious and aware of what your thoughts are and how you express them. Your thoughts might become your words. Your words might become your actions and your actions become your habits and your habits become your character. Your character shapes your destiny. I’m thankful for thinking twice and three times and always.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
